Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn , who played Hodor in the series, has spoken about how World of Warcraft helped him overcome drug addiction, DTF reports .
In an interview with Polygon, Christian Nairn shared his passion for gaming and what attracts him to World of Warcraft. He admitted that he collects mounts and gear and enjoys riding hard-to-get mounts. Nairn also expressed respect for tanks and healers, who carry a lot of responsibility in the game.
The actor named Sylvanas Windrunner as his favorite character, despite the questionable decisions of the writers. He also admitted that to some extent he replaced one addiction with another, but it was obvious to him that the choice in favor of the game was better.
Christian Nairn keeps his hobbies, including gaming, on the road for music gigs and other work. He uses a laptop with a Razer Nostromo keyboard to play World of Warcraft while on the go.
The actor also shared his favorite games, including Jet Set Radio Future and Street Fighter 2, as well as his love for racing. He noted that his home would be like a museum if he kept all the gaming consoles and devices he owned.
