Taking part in the circus with the mock closure of Comedy Club is not very funny, producer Iosif Prigozhin told NEWS.ru. According to him, it is important for journalists to find out everything before asking questions. Those who comment on this need to wait and double-check, Prigozhin added.
This is for you, for journalists: before asking questions, you should first find out everything, and we, fools who comment on this [nonsense], need to wait and double-check, you understand? Participating in a circus is somehow not very funny. I want to say that, in principle, it is not funny , – the producer emphasized.
Prigozhin added that if someone finds the fake closing of the show funny, then it is not for him. The producer wondered where he should laugh. He also noted that he has a “terrific sense of humor.” However, the situation did not make Prigozhin laugh.
Earlier, political scientist Sergei Markov said that the closure of Comedy Club would improve Russian society. According to the expert, the show contributed to the “stupefaction of the people.” Markov called the jokes in the program stupid and unfunny. The political scientist also criticized the actors who appear on stage in the program.
Comedy Club announced its last episode on TNT the day before. However, the so-called farewell broadcast turned out to be not the last one, but a prank on the viewers.
