Ballerina Anastasia Volochkova in her Instagram blog (the activity is prohibited in the Russian Federation) called the idea of deputies to test artists for alcohol before going on stage nonsense. According to her, stars can do whatever they want in their personal lives, but they do not have the right to go on stage in an inadequate state. Volochkova emphasized that ballet dancers, figure skaters, stuntmen and gymnasts cannot be physically drunk on stage because they need coordination of movements.
What nonsense. Many have seen drunk and drugged show business artists fall. Yes, it exists. I don’t understand how this applies to me. I work on pointe. With injuries, with mutilations, with calluses, I rub my feet until they bleed… Doesn’t the country have any other problems? What a disgrace. If they had passed a law on conscience and integrity, I would be behind my hands and my long and slender legs , the artist said.
Earlier, Volochkova hinted at and showed the shoulder and gray-streaked beard of her new lover. In the photo that the star published on her blog, she hugged the stranger and laid her head on his shoulder. The artist also admitted that she is currently happy because “there is a reliable shoulder nearby.”
Volochkova had previously expressed outrage at the proposal by State Duma deputy to test artists for alcohol before a concert. She wondered why all artists should be punished because of a few colleagues who “fell and got tangled in microphone cords while drunk.”
