Former US President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has demanded that his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, take an intelligence test.
“I think it’s important that Kamala Harris passes the cognitive endurance and agility test. Her actions have led many to believe that there may be something wrong with her,” the politician wrote on October 14 on his profile on the social network The Truth Social.
He cited the time 60 Minutes and CBS replaced Harris’s “crazy” answer with one that had nothing to do with the question asked, calling the move illegal, unconscionable and designed to protect the vice president.
“She is slow and sluggish in answering even the simplest questions. We’ve been through this for almost four years, we can’t do it again!” Trump concluded.
Earlier in the day, Alexei Pushkov, chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media, said that Democrats in the United States were close to panic because their candidate was lagging behind Trump . He also noted how the vice president had once again embarrassed herself when her teleprompter went out and she was unable to speak for herself, adding that the frantic promotion of her candidacy in the media was not having the desired impact on voters.
On October 9, the former head of the White House refused to hold a new round of debates with Harris . He added that he was leading in the polls, which is why the gap with his rival was growing every day. In his opinion, further debates were pointless, since Harris would not change anything in the policy of the current US President Joe Biden .
The next, 60th presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
