Not every journalist would be able to maintain her composure as TV presenter Ekaterina Andreeva did after breaking a chair on live television, announcer and TV presenter Anna Shatilova told NEWS.ru. In her opinion, the Channel One presenter showed herself to be a true professional in this situation.
The incident with the chair occurred during a news broadcast on Channel One on October 12. Andreeva was talking about the International Festival of Archival Films in Moscow. In the recording, she did not make any sudden movements, but at one point the chair broke under her. The presenter stayed on her feet and did not show it, continuing to read the text from the teleprompter.
Earlier, a mishap occurred on the Moscow 24 TV channel during the broadcast of the Victory Parade on Red Square. The correspondent decided to warm up her vocal apparatus with the phrase “One-two-two, this is hard bass, everyone in Adidas tracksuits.” The journalist and sound engineer were threatened with a fine for the overstatement on live air.
