According to a study conducted on the basis of calculating the price dynamics for cars insured under comprehensive insurance, the largest increase in the “accident basket” was recorded for BMW – 21%. It is followed by Skoda and Volkswagen with figures of 12.3% and 10.3% respectively.

“In the first six months of the year, the growth of the ‘accident basket’ for BMW was 21 percent, for Skoda and Volkswagen – 12.3 and 10.3 percent, respectively,” the report notes.

Among Chinese brands, the biggest increase in spare parts prices was observed for Haval (9.8%) and Exeed (7.8%). Russian automaker Lada is also not far behind: spare parts prices for its models have increased by almost 10%, exceeding the 2023 figures.

Analysts note that the most uniform increase in prices for spare parts is observed among Japanese brands Lexus and Toyota. At the same time, some premium brands, such as Mercedes-Benz and Audi, have seen a less significant increase in prices – 5.1%.

Earlier it became known that prices for auto parts in Russia have increased by 78% since  the beginning of the year. The greatest increase was noted for parts of German brands Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda, where the cost of parts almost doubled. The increase in prices is due to international sanctions and difficulties with importing original parts.
