Psychologists warn of potential health risks associated with excessive use of smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. According to psychologist Lidiya Kutuzova, constant fascination with gadgets can lead to information overload, decreased concentration, memory impairment and increased fatigue. Kutuzova’s words are quoted by the Izvestia publication.
The expert recommends setting clear time limits for working with gadgets, creating “device-free zones,” using special apps to control time spent online, and practicing digital detoxes. She also advises teaching children how to properly use electronic devices, encouraging live communication and joint family activities without using electronics.
The specialist emphasizes that it is important to learn to control the use of gadgets in order to avoid negative consequences for mental and physical health.
