For many people, a glass of their favorite drink is an opportunity to slowly start the day, to devote time to themselves and their thoughts. This is part of the very routine that gives stability and signals to the body that a new day has begun,” noted Maria Perestryuk, a practicing psychologist at the PsyPsy service.

According to her, some Russians enjoy not only drinking coffee, but also making it in the usual way. And some value morning coffee for the opportunity to chat with friends and colleagues.

The study showed that 49% of respondents drink coffee in the evening, 23% at any time of the day, 14% do it in the morning, 14% in the afternoon. At the same time, 22% drink coffee at work, 17% during a walk, 12% when they feel upset, and 9% while walking with friends.

Almost 1 thousand Russians took part in the survey.
