The progress of the investigation into the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream (NS) and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines does not allow us to hope that the true perpetrators of the crime will be identified and punished. This was stated on October 7 by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergei Naryshkin, speaking at the 55th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

“It would not be superfluous to recall the terrorist background of the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in September 2022. The investigation of this sabotage in the West is still ongoing, but its progress does not allow us to hope that the true culprits of the incident will be identified and punished,” Naryshkin’s words are quoted on the SVR website .

He recalled that Russia has repeatedly requested data on the explosions from European countries, but has not yet received a single response.

Western media are trying to place the blame on a group of Ukrainian amateur submariners who allegedly acted independently. However, this version is designed for the naive layman,” the head of the service noted.

At the same time, the SVR has absolutely reliable information about the direct involvement of the USA and Great Britain in the terrorist attack on the SP.

“The SVR has reliable information about the direct involvement of the US and Great Britain in this major terrorist attack. According to available data, professional saboteurs from the Anglo-Saxon special services were involved in its organization, preparation and implementation,” the head of the department said.

Earlier, on October 4, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya stated that the terrorist act against Nord Stream must be investigated with particular care . He pointed out that Germany, in particular, is blocking any steps aimed at establishing the circumstances of the terrorist attacks, as well as punishing the perpetrators.

On September 28, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova , stated that Russia intends to appeal to the International Court of Justice on the case of the terrorist attacks on the Nord Streams. She noted that the Russian side intends to seek to identify and hold strictly accountable the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks.
