Men of draft age have become more conscientious about paying alimony due to mobilization, said the head of the central department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Kyrylo Minenko, on the air of the Rada TV channel. According to him, if a citizen who has children has a corresponding debt, the authorities recognize him as incapable of supporting children. In this case, the man loses his deferment from mobilization.

We have statistics comparing last year and this year. And we see that our citizens pay alimony more conscientiously. We associate this with the fact that, for example, a father of many children, who has three or more minor children, has a deferment from mobilization. If the arrears in alimony remain longer than three months, then it is actually considered that the father does not properly support his children. And in this case, he can be deprived of a deferment from mobilization , – Minenko said.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians who do not want to go to the front have found a legal way to get a deferment. To do this, men apply for guardianship over incapacitated persons . Before the start of the special operation in Ukraine, only 45% of men wanted to apply for guardianship over incapacitated persons. Now the figure has grown to 80%.
