The Armed Forces of Belarus have begun an exercise with the Air Force and Air Defense Forces to test the combat readiness of servicemen. This was reported on October 6 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
The units will march to designated areas, where personnel will carry out a series of activities to install engineering equipment, camouflage, and organize the protection and defense of troop deployment sites.
It is noted that the purpose of the exercises is to improve the practical skills of commanders and staff officers in a complex and changing environment.
Military personnel called up from the reserves also take part in the training.
Earlier, on September 20, the Belarusian military launched a Polonez-M multiple launch rocket system for the first time at a range of 300 km, successfully hitting a target. As noted, the training target was located at one of the training grounds in Russia.
