An optional update for Windows 11 KB5043145 released last week is causing computer crashes, 3DNews reports .

According to the source, after installing the update, some users have encountered the inability to reboot the computer due to the appearance of Blue Screen Of Death or Green Screen Of Death. In addition, some have problems with the BitLocker recovery function, the disk encryption function.

At the same time, users complain about Windows loading endlessly and the automatic launch of the recovery function when trying to reset the update. One user reported that his laptop was stuck on the screen with the manufacturer’s logo with an endlessly spinning loading circle. Others complain about non-working mice, keyboards and USB ports, problems with Wi-Fi and the Windows Subsystem for Linux ceasing to work.

Microsoft has already confirmed the issue, which affects computers running Windows 11 versions 23H2 and 22H2. The company has recalled the update and is investigating complaints. The company recommends that affected users contact support via the Windows Feedback Hub.

It was previously reported that Huawei will no longer produce Windows laptops.
