Commentator Konstantin Genich criticized the chief referee of the 9th round Russian Premier League game Spartak – Dynamo Sergei Ivanov in an interview with Match TV .

According to him, a referee of such a level should not have sent off the Moroccan striker of the white-blues, El-Mehdi Mauhoub, for simulation in the 75th minute.

“A referee of Ivanov’s level has no right to give such cards. This removal simply saved Dynamo, because they remembered that they needed to attack. And Spartak believed that there would be no more problems,” Genich said.

The match, which took place at the Lukoil Arena stadium, ended with a score of 2:2. The score was opened by Dynamo forward Konstantin Tyukavin in the 3rd minute of the match. Spartak responded with goals scored by Costa Rican Manfred Ugalde in the 7th minute and Argentine Ezequiel Barco in the 23rd minute from a penalty.

In the middle of the second half, Moroccan striker El-Mehdi Mauhoub appeared on the field for Dynamo, and it took him seven minutes to get a red card. Spartak, who remained in the majority, were unable to hold on to the victory – Tyukavin scored a double in the 90+5th minute.

Gazeta.Ru conducted a text online broadcast of the match.

It was previously reported that the former captain of the Ukrainian national team donated money to residents of the Kursk region.
