US Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris did not give a clear answer to the question of whether she considers Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a close ally. According to her, the United States in its contacts with Israel notes the need to provide humanitarian aid, end the war, and conclude a deal that would allow the hostages to be released.

I think, with all due respect, the better question is whether there is a meaningful alliance between the American and Israeli people. And the answer to that question is yes , the US Vice President noted.

Earlier, American political scientist Malek Dudakov said that Netanyahu is counting on the victory of Republican candidate Donald Trump in the US presidential election. In a conversation with NEWS.ru, the expert emphasized that the Israeli politician is aware of the position of the current American leader Joe Biden and his team.

In his opinion, Netanyahu is waiting for a change of power in the US, because there will be chances to agree on something with another team. Tel Aviv, the political scientist is sure, no longer takes Biden’s opinion into account, does whatever it wants, and forces the US to get more involved in the conflict in the Middle East.

Political scientist Simon Tsipis previously said that Biden  is preventing Netanyahu  from resolving all issues in the Middle East. The expert stressed that relations between Washington and Tel Aviv could deteriorate while the Democratic Party is in power in the United States.
