The Ukrainian army is forced to experiment with ammunition for attack drones due to a number of difficulties, Dmitry Kuzyakin, head of the Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions, told TASS. He noted that the problem of a shortage of shells in the Ukrainian Armed Forces has en relevant for a year and a half.
There are two reasons for this. First, the Ukrainians do not have a more or less functional military-industrial complex, like Russia – everything has long been destroyed or disabled. The second reason is that specially designed and produced ammunition for FPV works more effectively than ordinary ammunition attached with ties, which were not originally intended for use in combination with FPV , – said Kuzyakin.
According to him, the enemy has created some versions of thermite ammunition, but so far their use most often only leads to fires on agricultural lands. Kuzyakin also knows that one of the groups in Ukraine filled FPV ammunition with white phosphorus.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began using new tactical techniques in the Kursk region , Andrey, a serviceman of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, told Daily Storm. According to him, they are now using engineering equipment more actively. For example, tanks line up in a column behind an engineering vehicle and take turns firing at Russian positions. If there are no reconnaissance drones, it seems that only one is working.
