According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple may stop releasing new versions of its products every year. This was stated by the agency’s columnist and well-known insider Mark Gurman .

Apple currently introduces new versions of its devices every year, but in the future the company may move to a more flexible approach, releasing products only when they are fully completed. This will allow it to create higher quality and more original devices.

Gurman noted that updating all devices every year is inefficient, and Apple already releases new versions of some products, such as the iPad, Apple Watch, and MacBook, irregularly. At the same time, he said, the iPhone will likely continue to be released consistently once a year.

The analyst also pointed to the benefits of releasing gadgets annually, including incentives for employees and clarity for investors. However, he believes Apple will have to balance these benefits with the quality of its products.

“It looks like Apple will have to move to a more flexible approach where it releases products when they are ready and doesn’t release them if they are not ready,” the insider concluded.
