Apple has declared 12 Mac computers obsolete, MacRumors  reports .

The list included various models of MacBook laptops and iMac desktop computers released from 2015 to 2018. The oldest were the MacBook Air from early 2015, as well as three iMacs and one MacBook Pro released in late 2015.

In addition, the 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro, the 2016 12-inch MacBook, and the 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro have been declared obsolete.

The newest model on the list of outdated devices is the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which comes with four Thunderbolt 3 ports. The device was released in 2018.

The publication emphasizes that Apple calls a product obsolete if more than five years have passed since it was discontinued.

It was reported yesterday that Apple is preparing to hold another event in the coming weeks. At least seven new devices will be presented at this event. Apple’s second fall presentation is expected to take place in October 2024.

It was previously revealed that it was extremely dangerous to enter any passwords in the Apple Vision Pro.
