Servicemen of the brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) left their place of deployment and went to a rally in Mykolaiv Oblast. This was reported on October 3 by the Ukrainian TV channel “Obshchestvennoye”.
“In Voznesensk, Nikolaev region, about a hundred soldiers from the 187th battalion of the 123rd territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went to a rally,” the TV channel reported.
They reportedly refused to carry out a combat mission and left their military unit in Donbass without permission. The servicemen are protesting to draw attention to their poor training and lack of weapons for participation in combat operations in the Donetsk direction.
Earlier, on September 12, CNN reported that the flow of wounded Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters from the front lines in Donbass is practically non-stop . According to the publication, medical institutions do not have enough space to accommodate the wounded who are brought from the front. Many fighters have to be transported hundreds of kilometers.
On September 8, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses in Donbass , and the Ukrainian army is losing its last reserves. According to him, the Ukrainians have no choice but to flee back along the Dnieper.
