The UN Security Council, at Russia’s request, will hold a meeting on the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream, the Russian Permanent Mission to the Organization reported on its Telegram channel. It is noted that it will take place on Friday, October 4, at 17:00 Moscow time.

Tomorrow, October 4, at 10:00 New York time (17:00 Moscow time), a meeting of the UN Security Council on the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream will take place , as requested by Russia, the mission said in a statement.

Earlier, German political scientist Alexander Rahr said that the Americans would not allow Germany to restore the Nord Streams . In a conversation with NEWS.ru, the expert emphasized that the team of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz would not take such a step. He noted that anti-Russian EU countries, such as Poland, are also against restoring the gas pipelines.

Earlier, Bundestag member Steffen Kotre said that the restoration of the undermined Nord Streams is possible and justified . According to him, German industry suffers greatly without Russian gas.

Before this, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the West is not interested in investigating the explosion at Nord Stream. According to her, Moscow has repeatedly sent requests for legal assistance to European countries. However, in response it has invariably received refusals on “far-fetched pretexts” and without explanation.
