A rally against arms supplies to Kyiv and for a peaceful resolution of conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East was held in Berlin; RIA Novosti published footage of the demonstration. The video shows that the protesters took Russian and Palestinian flags with them.
Earlier, British political scientist Anatol Lieven said that the West increasingly recognizes that the conflict in Ukraine will end only through an agreement with Russia based on the “Istanbul principles.” He noted that Kiev will have to sign a neutrality agreement accompanied by some international guarantees of security and territorial integrity. More and more signs that this is the best that can be expected are also appearing in the Ukrainian capital, he notes.
Before this, British expert Alexander Mercuris expressed the opinion that the main condition for ending the Ukrainian conflict is the West and Kiev accepting Ukraine’s neutral status and abandoning their intentions to join NATO. He also called for improving relations with Russia.
