Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who is running for a second term, is using administrative resources, which puts other candidates in unequal conditions, opposition MP Irina Lozovan said on the GRT TV channel. According to her, the country’s Central Election Commission is completely ignoring her actions.
Lozovan pointed out that all candidates started the election campaign on September 20 and presented their programs, but Sandu decided to use administrative resources for this. She added that the CEC either deliberately turns a blind eye to this or is “completely blind.”
Earlier, the leader of the opposition bloc “Victory” Ilan Shor said that Sandu and her ruling party “Action and Solidarity” are asking for loans from the West, driving the country into a debt hole , instead of cooperating with Russia. In his Telegram channel, he also said that the current government “has no brains” and wondered whether Moldova sees itself as a second-class citizen for the European Union or a full-fledged trading partner for Russia and the EAEU.
