Banks consider transfers over 100 thousand rubles suspicious, said analyst Eryaniya Bochkina. This was reported by the agency “Prime” .

She emphasized that transfers of 1 million rubles per month, more than 30 banking transactions per day, as well as the time between the crediting and debiting of funds – one minute or less – are also considered suspicious.

The analyst added that by law, credit institutions are required to monitor transactions with amounts at least six times higher.

If the card has previously been noticed in dubious transactions, the bank can block it even for the transfer of a small amount, Bochkina emphasized.

The day before, the director of the information security department of the Central Bank of Russia, Vadim Uvarov, stated that banks blocked 30 thousand suspicious accounts on the first day of the new law on returning stolen funds to clients.

According to the Central Bank, systemically important Russian banks freeze more than 20 thousand transfers daily due to the receipt of information about suspicious activity.

Earlier, the Central Bank expanded the list of signs of fraudulent transactions for bank employees.
