The share of Russians booking air tickets abroad for October increased by 29% compared to September, to 46%. The most popular holiday destination was Istanbul ( Turkey ) – 8% of all bookings. Such statistics were provided to Gazeta.Ru by the press service of the Aviasales service.
Yerevan ( Armenia ) and Tashkent ( Uzbekistan ) accounted for 7% of bookings each, Antalya (Turkey) – 6%, Baku ( Azerbaijan ) – 5%, Dubai ( UAE ) – 4%. Tbilisi ( Georgia ), Almaty ( Kazakhstan ), Phuket ( Thailand ) and Minsk (Belarus) accounted for 3% of bookings each .
Of the listed destinations, the cheapest ticket is to Minsk, and the most expensive is to Phuket. From Moscow in October, a roundtrip flight to Minsk costs from 7,024 rubles per passenger, and to Phuket – from 53,983 rubles. From St. Petersburg, you can fly to Minsk from 9,530 rubles, and to Phuket – from 55,026 rubles. From Yekaterinburg – from 17,311 rubles and from 68,286 rubles, respectively.
The average duration of foreign trips in October was nine days. Russians will spend the longest time in Phuket — two weeks, and the shortest vacation is planned in Minsk — four days. The share of family travelers increased by 48%.
