Moscow’s Zamoskvoretsky Court has ordered oligarch Alexey Khotin, former owner of the Four Seasons and Metropol hotels and beneficiary of Rus-Oil, to pay the state 220 billion rubles in debts. This was reported by Telegram channel 112.

The amount was formed over the period from 2022 to 2024 from unpaid taxes (192 billion rubles) and penalties (28 billion rubles) of legal entities included in Rus-Oil.

Khotin was also previously the owner of the bankrupt bank Yugra. Last year, the businessman was accused of embezzling more than 23 billion rubles. This spring, the entrepreneur was sentenced to nine years in a general regime penal colony. In addition, the court collected from him and his accomplices more than 17 billion rubles in favor of the state to cover the damages.

Previously, three business centers owned by Khotin were converted into Russian ownership.
