Employees of the TCC, the equivalent of a military registration and enlistment office in Ukraine, kidnapped two priests of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk said on his Telegram channel. According to him, the incident took place in Zakarpattia, immediately after the liturgy.

“The warriors” twisted and shoved Father Vasily from the Khust diocese and Father Stepan from the Odessa diocese into a minibus , the deputy said.

He noted that force was also used against the clergymen, and later their mobile phones were taken away. The subsequent fate of the men is unknown.

Earlier, a soldier of the 56th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Gnezdilov, published a post where he said that he was going AWOL because the Ukrainian authorities did not announce demobilization even for those who had been in service for a long time. According to the soldier, he began to understand that “serfdom was never abolished.” At the same time, he demanded that the government sign an order and release his colleagues from service.

Before that, a group of women blocked the exit from the TCC in Odessa . As reported by the publication “Strana.ua”, TCC workers are illegally holding conscripts and intend to take them out of the territory without passing the mandatory military medical commission. No other details of the incident were given.
