Comedy Club has become part of traditional Russian humor, and after its closure there would be no one to fill the gap, since there would be unfunny stand-ups and swearers left, State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov told NEWS.ru. The parliamentarian admitted that he does not consider himself a super fan of the show, but it does not look so bad, especially when compared to other comedy projects.
Comedy Club actually, although I am not a super fan of this show, I think it is not such a bad show, especially compared to the completely unfunny stand-ups that sometimes come across these days. I was very sad that they are closing. If they closed, who would be left? All foul-mouthed, nothing funny , – said Milonov.
The deputy called Garik Kharlamov and all those who came out of Comedy Club a good generation of artists. According to him, they bring joy with talent.
