Brazilian Minister of Culture Margaret Menezes stated that the St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is of great importance. She specified that the main topic of the event will be the discussion of issues related to the creative economy. As Menezes noted in response to a question from a NEWS.ru correspondent, it plays a key role in the life of all countries.
The creative economy is, in our opinion, a cornerstone, it brings in income and provides employment to the population. It is on these issues that we plan to focus , the minister emphasized.
Menezes also noted the high level of organization of the forum and emphasized the importance of such events for establishing dialogue between different peoples. In addition, in her opinion, culture plays a key role in building bridges for negotiations and international cooperation.
The St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is held from September 11 to 14. The main theme of the event is “Culture of the 21st Century: Sovereignty or Globalism?” The forum will be attended by about 1,700 participants.
The BRICS Cloud Cities Forum will be held in Moscow’s Zaryadye on September 18-19 , where Russia and the association’s members will gather to discuss technologies for cities and residents, and will be able to exchange experiences in their application. Currently, there are several services that Russia can offer for export: Moscow Postamat, Take Charge!, and Rostelecom.
